Richard Hutchison Jr. is a lifelong resident of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay, the area has long been known as a water fowlers Mecca. Although Richard does enjoy the occasional waterfowl hunt, most of his hunting time is spent in pursuit of whitetails.
Richard harvested his first deer at age 10. In those days, the season was for bucks only, unless you had a doe permit.

With the recent deer explosion, a hunter can harvest a near endless number of does. This change has helped transform Richard from hunting “any antlers” to hunting mature bucks, and packing the freezer with as many does as needed.
A diesel mechanic by trade and a “tinkerer” at heart, in 2002 Richard along with his cousin Michael Hutchison, formed Undertaker Enterprises LLC. This has been a way for both Richard and Michael to exercise they’re passion for deer hunting with a business. Undertaker enterprises is a company that specializes in skull cleaning as well as the manufacturing of trail camera posts for most of the trail cameras currently available. They’re slogan; “Willing to undertake any outdoor adventure from the typical to the non-typical” describes them to a tee. Both Michael and Richard have helped team WKP in a variety of prototypes and product ideas to make us all better hunters.
Todd’s Comments
Like his cousin Michael, Richard Hutchison will be hunting the eastern shores of Maryland as well as Missouri this coming season. I look forward to seeing what these “antler addicts” will be filming this fall. It’s sure to be a great addition to the 2008 video. |
