have always let Dave chase his passions wherever
they may take him.
Dave’s bowhunting life began at the age of 16, for the most part because of his
good friend and team member Jason Syens. The two have been good friends and hunting
buddies ever since. Dave says that about a year ago, Jason proposed the idea of
filming their hunts; and the rest as they say is history! Dave says that filming
hunts has truly changed his life. Not only does he enjoy bowhunting more, but has
met so many great people just like himself that it’s worth all the hard work.
When Dave’s not hunting, he enjoys part-time farming with his family. He is also
an avid Fisherman, Turkey Hunter, and enjoys playing a variety of sports. You can
also find Dave riding his motorcycle, for-which he admits – he’s loves popping wheelies
down dirt roads with the wind in his hair! This can be “the best of times, and the
worst of times...”
Todd’s Comments: To this day, Dave’s segment
in “Full-Circle” still cracks me up. I didn’t realize how funny Dave was until we
started reviewing the footage of these two guys from last year. Kyle and I cracked
up every-time we got to their segment, and humor is truly my favorite aspect of
these guys. Anyone can kill a deer on camera; but my favorite segments are with
these two guys not taking themselves too seriously, and having fun with the process.
That truly is what White Knuckle is all-about! Thanks very much Dave for all the
hard-work you put into your season!
