Andy Nevar's Bio |

|
|
Andy “Nev’s” Nevar was born and raised in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. He lives a short distance from the original family farm with his beautiful wife Stacy, and daughters Avery (5) and Bryttan (2).
Andy owns his own construction company called “Nevar Custom Woodworks”. He does everything from new home construction, to custom furniture. You may have seen some of Andy’s work if you stopped by the White Knuckle |
|
Productions booth at any of the previous years “Deer and Turkey Classics”. Andy’s table featured log legs that were constructed of “healed” buck rubs. To see his work first-hand is nothing short of incredible!
Andy was blessed to have a father and two older brothers who passed along the family traditions and the importance of hunting ethics. From Fishing trips to Canada, Pheasant hunting in South Dakota, and shed antler hunting trips to Saskatchewan; it’s easy to see how Andy became such an avid outdoorsman.
Besides Andy’s obvious life-long quest for giant whitetails, flippin’ gagger sized sheds, and the endless refilling beer mug; he also loves nothing more than spending time in the woods with his daughters and nephews. Andy also had a plug at the end of his bio referring to a different “flippin’ gagger”, but this isn’t that kind of website Andy!
Todd’s Comments
Man, to think of the first night meeting Andy when I pulled into the driveway of a friends cabin; and saw that MONSTER hanging on the pole! I spent the entire evening getting to know Andy and Ed; looking through the family photo albums, hearing story after story about giant whitetails, Canadian shed hunting trips, and the obvious whitetail addiction this family shared. I can remember thinking to myself, “Why haven’t I heard of these guys before”? Ever since that night when I got to share that experience with the Nevar brothers, I felt a bond that I honestly never thought I would get to experience again. I kept in-touch with both Andy and Ed, and many years later when forming the first teams for White Knuckle productions, I instantly knew of two guys that I would LOVE to get involved. Thank god they took me seriously, because after only our first year filming with Andy and Ed, sharing countless “White Knuckle Specials”; Andy, Ed, and their families have all truly become a part of my family. It is only because they opened they’re arms, they’re minds, and family history to this production that “Beyond the Kill” was even possible. I can only say “thank you”, and I look forward to the creation of new memories in future! My body never knew the feeling of “exhaustion” until I started deer hunting and shed hunting with the Nevar’s. It’s Ed’s turn Andy, quit hogging the spot-light! |
