Aaron DeHaan, age 33, has been hunting since age fourteen with his dad and brother in Lower Michigan. At age seventeen he started bow hunting with his brother Jason. Aaron harvested his first deer with a bow in 1996, and from that moment he had a true passion for bowhunting!
Together with his brother Jason, he started exploring out-of-state properties, continuing the pursuit bigger bucks, and constantly raising the bar. Aaron |

has harvested many quality whitetails in Michigan, which has paved the way for Aaron’s success’s anywhere he hunts.
In 2005, Aaron laid the smack down on an awesome Illinois buck, which was Aaron’s biggest to date. This buck has once again raised the bar for Aaron, and now his goal is to successfully document his first harvest on-film. He will continue to feed his obsession by filming his and Jay’s hunts across the Midwest, which is also to help others share his passion for bowhunting. Aaron has a son and a daughter, who will learn the love of the outdoors through their dad!
When Aaron’s not in the woods, Aaron is an Auto-Body Painter by trade. He also enjoys shooting his bow with his brother, team members, and going on those out-of-state shed hunts!
Todd’s Comments
When I first met Aaron and Jason DeHaan, I have to admit, I didn’t really believe they were brothers. Compared to his brother Jason, Aaron has the exact opposite personality of Jay. He is a very level-headed, patient, and really kind-of a quiet guy. The best description I can come up with for Aaron is “A nice guy”. Aaron’s positive attitude is something that always makes him a pleasure to be around, and he’s always smiling. Sometimes I feel like he’s watching Jay and I discussing what-ever it is that we discuss (Jay and I really love to talk, A-LOT), just thinking to himself – “Now I have to listen to two of them?” |
