Josh Collister was raised in a family where the outdoors was an important aspect of his childhood. Whether it be hunting or fishing, Josh was following his dad around the field just about as soon as he could walk.
At the age of 16, Josh decided to try bowhunting even though his father didn’t bowhunt. After years of trial and error, Josh learned from his mistakes and it wasn’t long before he started becoming pretty successful with his bow. It was at that time that Josh became a bowhunting fanatic and became more and more determined to start filming his hunts.
Josh is thankful for having a supportive wife, family, and friends. He knows that without the support at home it’s pretty tough for him to achieve his goals in the field.
Todd’s Comments
I knew Josh was serious about our project when he came to our video school this past spring with a “bag” hanging out of his abdomen from a recent surgery. I realized this guy was serious about whitetails and filming his season if he was committed enough to sit through our video school in his condition. I’m glad Josh is involved and can’t wait to see what he will bring to the table this upcoming season. |
